Equine Ionic Nutritional Support

About the Product

Sodium, chloride, potassium, calcium and magnesium are the primary electrolytes (ions) needed by a working horse. When ions are balanced, they promote water consumption and retention, which can eliminate dehydration concerns and other health problems.

The unique property and benefit about KAM Daily Electrolyte is that all of these ingredients are available to the horse immediately. KAM Daily Electrolyte is the only product on the market which ensures a balanced blood chemistry level, by addressing potassium, sodium, magnesium and calcium blood levels. Unlike other products on the market KAM Daily Electrolyte does not burn or cause gut discomfort, nor does it contain chloride. Most 'over the counter' electrolyte products contain sodium chloride which immediately oxidates in the gut, leaving sodium ions of which the horse cannot stop absorption into the blood. Consequently, sodium replaces potassium at the cellular level and hinders nutrient transfer.

KAM Daily Electrolyte are designed to support in the balancing of these nutrients. KAM Daily Electrolytes are generally needed if tying-up, muscle cramping, anhydrous, synchronous diaphragmatic flutter or diarrhea present themselves.
