KAM Finally: natural high fat, high fiber feed

KAM Animal Services has been listening to our customers complain about how hard it is to find a high-fat, high-fiber, sugar-free complete feed for years now. You are frustrated by how hard it is to find beet pulp without molasses, a reliable supply of flax seed, or you simply can’t soak feed in your situation. If you cannot soak an all natural diet you struggle to find an appropriate complete feed that meets the goals of the KAM diet; namely high fat, high fiber and NO sugar. And, as if that weren’t enough, you have concerns about the environmental contamination in beet pulp and the lack of consistency in complete feeds from state to state.

KAM Animal Services has heard you, and we’ve shared your frustration. After years of searching and finding feeds that were all less than what we hoped for we finally determined that the only option left to us was to develop our own complete feed that would meet the goals and high standards we have for our horses’ diets.

“FINALLY” is KAM’s answer: a TRUE high fat, high fiber complete feed, formulated from the finest quality ingredients we could find. It is designed to meet the basic nutrient requirements for a healthy horse and provides valuable accessory nutrients to aid in digestion and absorption. This focus on absorbability reduces the horse’s digestive burden by enabling you to meet your horse’s basic needs with less food. We recommend not feeding more than three pounds per day of FINALLY Pellet for the average horse while most complete feeds recommend feeding at least 5 pounds per day if not more. FINALLY Pellet is designed to be safe to feed to all classes of horses.

In keeping with KAM Animal Service’s high standards of quality food for our animals, organic and non GMO ingredients are used in FINALLY Pellets:

Timothy comprises 80% of the roughage in FINALLY. It was sourced from Ontario and tested less than 10% NSC.
Organic Black Oil Sunflower Seeds: we’ve included the whole seed including the hull in FINALLY.
10% Organic Oats and Organic Oat Groats and 10% Organic Barley.
Dried (not extruded) ORGANIC Beet Pulp with NO molasses (yes, we found a source!).
Certified Organic and Contaminant free Dried Kelp and Seaweed Meal sourced from Iceland.
A variety of fat sources including: Organic Whole Hemp Seed. Where many products use the whole plant we use the nutrient rich seeds. Organic Stabilized Rice Bran and Coconut Oil. You’ll notice our feed is 4% fat. We don’t need it to be higher because our fat sources are concentrated and in highly absorbable forms = less digestive burden.
Dried Lactobacillus Acidophilus: this is a dehydrated version of KLPP to aid digestion.
Organic Wheat Middlings, Cellulose and Alfalfa Meal help to bind the ingredients into a pelleted form without having to use molasses other chemical binding agents. The quantity of these natural binders is nutritionally insignificant.
Contaminant free Diatomaceous Earth, Attapulgite Clay and Charcoal to aid in absorption of toxins in the digestive tract.
Organic Apple Cider Vinegar helps with pH balance in the gut and Hydrochloric Acid facilitates the production of phytase to help break down the plant proteins.
Citric Acid a source of vitamin C serves as a natural preservative.
A balanced array of naturally occurring (not synthetic) vitamins and minerals in multiple forms to increase bio-availability and absorption.
Digestive and Systemic Enzymes as well as a full Amino Acid complex assist digestion and systemic and structural health.
